Family law has always been my passion.  I have always felt a desire to stand up for the underdog and fight for others when they can’t fight for themselves. This desire has shaped decisions throughout my life, including making the choice to practice family law.  Clients come to our office during the most stressful times of their lives. Most frequently, our clients seek our services as they are making decisions that will impact their future, and the future of their children and families. My goal is to help my clients achieve the best outcome possible for their case and stand up for them throughout their legal battle, whether that be through settlement negotiations or litigation.  Another goal I have is to set realistic expectations from the very first consultation, so my clients know what to expect.  Having practiced in Union, Mecklenburg, and the surrounding counties, I have a good understanding of the results a client can expect and can offer advice accordingly.

Your case is important to me, and your family is important to me.  I will protect your legal interests to the best of my ability, and I will fight for you throughout the duration of your case.  I will make myself accessible to you throughout the legal process and answer any of your questions that may arise.

I am a Union County native. I attended the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill to obtain my undergraduate degree, and then attended Elon Law School in Greensboro, North Carolina. Currently, I live in Monroe with my husband, daughter and our loyal dog, and our family attends Lee Park Baptist Church. When not in the office, you can find me with my family, at the beach, or with my nose in a good book.
